hummel & Norwegian Handball Federation sign milestone agreement

Starting July 1st, 2020 until December 31st, 2026, hummel will be the official partner and technical supplier to the Norwegian Handball Federation (NHF) in an agreement including all official on and off court sports apparel and accessories as well as medical equipment and resin.

“This is a milestone agreement for the Norwegian Handball Federation,” announced Jan-Erik Aalbu, Commerical Director for NHF.

“We are extremely pleased about the new partnership. hummel is a well-established brand with great tradition and continues to invest in our sport. This was a decisive factor for us as we looked for a new partner. hummel is already a supplier to several high-profile clubs and federations globally. Our talks were very constructive and positive from the outset,” Aalbu continued.

The agreement includes all associated national handball teams, as well as NHF and its six regional affiliates.

“hummel meets all of our expectations in this new capacity as partner and technical supplier. We are looking forward to a long and productive co-operation. The timing is perfect with a Women’s European Championship on home court in December this year with Norway co-hosting the Women’s World Championships in 2023 and the Men’s World Championships in 2025,” Aalbu said.
